Invision, the advertising and sponsorship arm of ExCeL London and part of the OPEX Group is now marketing poster sites at near neighbour London City Airport to event organisers, their exhibitors and sponsors.
The arrangement will dramatically boost awareness for any company that will be jointly advertising on some of ExCeL London's 200 plus poster and media sites and those at London City Airport according to David O'Beirne, Invision's Commercial Director.
"We're delighted to be working with London City Airport which is expanding fast in terms of flights and passenger traffic. This arrangement means that organisers and exhibitors can reach many thousands more AB profile business travellers as well as those event visitors and delegates that travel to ExCeL London via the airport."
Numbers of people at both locations are growing strongly with ExCeL London projecting visitor numbers to exceed 2 million in 2008 and London City Airport projecting nearly 3 million passengers in the same period.
Exhibitions taking place at ExCeL this year include the London Boat Show, the London Motor Show, World Travel Market, Grand Designs Live, Hotelympia, A Place In The Sun Live and Retail Solutions, which has recently re-located to ExCeL London from the NEC in Birmingham.
