James Mark, Group Head of Event Management has been promoted to the newly created position of Olympic Project Director at ExCeL London.  Hosting 7 of the 24 Olympic events and 5 of the Paralympic events, ExCeL London has more events than any other Olympics venue.
 
Commenting on the new position, Kevin Murphy, CEO, ExCeL London: "I am thrilled to appoint James Mark to the new position of Olympic Project Director for ExCeL. James has been with ExCeL since the very early days and thoroughly deserves this accolade.  He will still head up ExCeL's Event Management team but will now be the sole conduit for the 2012 London Olympic Games, reporting directly to the Executive Management Board of ExCeL London."
