Industry Embraces Launch of Naidex South

  • May 2010

Naidex South (29-30 September 2010, ExCeL London), the new show for the homecare, disability and rehabilitation market in the south of England, has been well received in the month since its launch. Exhibitors have been keen to pledge their support to this new venture and already 60% of stands have been sold.

"We have received enormous interest from both the trade and prospective visitors regarding Naidex South which is fantastic. Following in-depth market research we identified that those living and working within the south east were not adequately serviced by an exhibition such as Naidex. In response to this we launched Naidex South to fill this void and we're delighted with the reaction we’ve had to our launch. Naidex 2010 (Birmingham) was a great success and people believe in, and are loyal to, the Naidex brand. We're looking forward to providing a sister show for those who need it most in London and its surrounds," commented Liz Virgo, Event Director.

Naidex South will be taking place at ExCeL London, in the heart of London’s Docklands. Recently renovated to house the Paralympic games in 2012, ExCeL London is one of London’s premier disabled friendly venues with excellent transport links and adequate disabled and non-disabled parking.

Jeremy Rees, Exhibition Sales Director, ExCeL London said "ExCeL London is delighted to welcome Naidex South in September 2010. With superb levels of accessibility for disabled visitors, we believe ExCeL London will be the ideal home for the event and will provide both exhibitors and visitors with fantastic facilities to make Naidex South a highly successful event".

With successful features running at Naidex, the Naidex team are keen to ensure those in the south also benefit from a similar informative and fun programme. Naidex South will feature the Lifestyle Seminar theatre where visitors can view practical product demonstrations and listen to inspirational speakers. The KideQuip zone is dedicated to children's equipment and services, with help and advice on hand for families and carers. A Communication Village will house the latest in assistive technologies, and visitors can see, touch, test and compare thousands of products designed to aid independent living. With so many fantastic features on show Naidex South really does have something for everyone.
