ExCeL London has announced the promotion of Raksha Karavadra who will further strengthen the team at ExCeL London in the position of Account Executive.

Having gained a Diploma in Event Management in 2009, Raksha has been working at ExCeL London since February as an events co-ordinator. Her new role will see her working heavily with UK agencies and corporates, proactively handling sales enquiries, managing accounts and playing an instrumental role in arranging site visits and tours.

James Rees, Director of Conferences and Events, ExCeL London commented; "This is a very exciting time for ExCeL London and for Raksha to be joining us. Enquiry levels have been extremely high since we officially launched ICC London ExCeL last October and we have already secured numerous events across corporate, association and public sector clients.

He added; "Our continued expansion into new and emerging markets, means we are operating in a very fast paced environment and we are growing the team to support this. I am confident that with her ambition and passion for events, Raksha will make a great permanent addition to this team."
