Friday Jun 03, 2005

ExCeL London - June 2005 - With still more than four months to go, Cycle 2005 looks like being a complete sell out with exhibitors booking their places in record numbers.

Over 75% of available space has already been sold, highlighting the demand from the bicycle industry to be part of the UK's premiere cycle exhibitions.

Cycle 2005 has moved from the Business Design Centre to ExCeL London. Mick Bennett, Event Director commented: "The move to our new venue, ExCeL London, has allowed us to increase floor space to meet the exhibitors demands for additional space and to accommodate new companies who have previously not exhibited. Of the exhibiting companies committed so far, over 20% of these are new to the show."

Kevin Murphy, Deputy CEO & MD Exhibitions, London ExCeL said: "ExCeL London provides the perfect facilities for the Cycle Show to grow and add new features. By utilising the outdoor areas, Upper Street Events can also bring a further live action dimension to the show. We are looking forward to helping the Cycle Show enhance its reputation as a world class event."

Brands that have confirmed attendance to date include: Specialized, Scott, Trek, Nike, Decathlon and Evans Cycles. Cycling bodies such as the Bicycle Association, and the CTC continue to support the show.

The organisers, Upper Street Events, are also looking to introduce a number of exciting new features to the show that will capture the imagination of both the trade and public alike and, judging by the exhibitor confidence, Cycle 2005 has all the makings of breaking previous records.
