ExCeL London, the international exhibition and conference centre, is the result of a £300m investment in providing world-class facilities for London - Europe's premier business and leisure destination. With exciting plans to develop its facilities and after hours event further, ExCeL is the Capital's largest and most successful exhibition & conference centre.

Since opening in 2000 the venue has hosted over 2000 events and welcomed over 5 million visitors, from over 200 different countries.

Situated in a stunning waterfront location at Royal Victoria Dock, next to London City Airport and Canary Wharf, ExCeL London offers 90,000 square metres (968,760 square feet) of flexible exhibition, conference, meeting and event space, together with 5 onsite hotels (offering 1,400 rooms) and a variety of pubs, bars and restaurants.

With an international airport on the doorstep, 3 onsite Docklands Light Railway (DLR) stations, a 3-minute connection to the London Underground (the Tube), excellent road links and parking for 4,000 cars ExCeL London provides unrivalled transport links for both national and international visitors.

ExCeL is home to 8 out of 10 of London's top trade shows including World Travel Market, IFE, Hotelympia and Salon, as well as home to 2 out of 3 of the UK's largest consumer shows - The London Boat Show and The British International Motor Show. It is also host to 7 out of 20 of the London 2012 Olympic Games and a number of paralympic events.

Following a host of other accolades, ExCeL London was named Business Superbrand 2008 for the second year running, as well as awarded Exhibition Venue of the Year - Event Awards, Best Venue Support and Green Venue of the Year at the Exhibition News Awards 2008.

In June 2008, ExCeL London was acquired by ADNEC (Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company). ADNEC is one of the world's leading exhibition developers. It built, owns and manages the 55,000sqm state-of-the-art Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. The acquisition represents a significant investment in the future of the UK's events and exhibitions industry and will provide a number of new opportunities around the ExCeL site's development.
