The Association of Event Organisers (AEO) has announced its 2011 Excellence Awards will be held at ExCeL London on 1st July.

The AEO awards are open to all organisers, venues and suppliers operating in the worldwide trade and consumer exhibition and events industry. Companies are encouraged to nominate events that took place between 20th April 2010 and 4th April 2011.

"This year's awards ceremony will mark a new high in the event's history," AEO CEO Austen Hawkins said. "ExCeL London is working with us to set-up what promises to be a stunning day. We encourage all members to nominate their success stories over the past year and to join us on 1st July to celebrate our industry's greatest achievements."
