We have unrivalled transport links at ExCeL. The very nature of events is that people have to travel to get to them. So we are aware that this has an environmental impact. However, the public transport infrastructure and future plans such as the new DLR routes, Eurostar moving to Paddington and Crossrail, all mean that more of our visitors are choosing to come by public transport.

In fact, 75% of our visitors come by public transport. The other benefit of our location is that London City Airport is only 5 minutes and also has a DLR link. To encourage visitors to come by public transport we work very close with the London Underground and Docklands Light Railway.

During major events we work with the DLR to increase the frequency of trains running to and from the venue.
