In the last year we have reduced our gas consumption by 56% and our electricity consumption by 15%. This has led to us reducing our C02 emissions by 31%. Going forward we are looking at the feasibility of several projects which could enable the business to achieve even more energy savings and reduce co2 emissions:

• Upgrade and improvements of Building management control systems - Starting next year this will be rolled out across the next 3-5 years
• Feasibility of Low Load Chiller for the conference suite
• Review of night time base load with a view to reduce Boiler use and Gas consumption
• Review of CHP system

We will also be enhancing our energy monitoring processes, which will be reviewed during monthly energy meetings. It is hoped that we will be able to produce carbon footprint data on a show by show basis.

We are currently developing an energy modelling tool to achieve this. We will also be able target and monitor performance more efficiently.
