The biggest problem we face is raising awareness and educating our clients about the importance of using the correct procedures and equipment we provide when recycling. At the moment the majority of our clients and their customers are still mixing waste e.g mixing food waste with cardboard.

This contamination at source accounts for around 13% of our site waste. The change in behaviour across our industry to realise the importance of recycling is critical to us achieving the maximum recycling levels across the site.
