ExCeL London is currently undergoing a major refurbishment of the event halls. Since August, ExCeL London has been cleaning, polishing and repainting the event floors with a premium paint system.

The ExCeL London website has recently introduced a brand new guest service. On the visitors section of the website, guests will be able to purchase West End theatre, concert tickets and book pre-theatre or post-theatre dinner at some of London's top restaurants. Discounted prices are available on selected tickets.

The British International Motor Show made a triumphant return to London last month, when the show was held in the capital for the first time in 30 years.
411,070 visitors flocked to ExCeL London - that represents a 24% increase, compared to the last show held at the NEC in 2004.

At the ‘Built in Quality’ Awards 2006, ExCeL London’s Platinum Suite was nominated for three awards and scooped the ‘Best Fire Engineering Innovation.’ It has now been put forward to the LABC National Built in Quality Awards for ‘Best Commercial Project.’
