Senior Account Manager (New Business)

 

We require an entrepreneurial and creative Senior Account Manager to seek, develop and grow revenue in the corporate sector.

You must have a strategic approach to building relationships, developing new business, managing and growing existing accounts and relationships. You will be an ambassador for the venue and our brand, liaising with clients and advising them on event opportunities. The role’s focus is to close high revenue business to achieve aggressive targets.

This is a senior role suited to an individual who can clearly demonstrate high revenue sales and consultative selling over a long sales cycle. You must be confident and capable dealing at senior level, identifying and closing large accounts and clients.

* Proactive new business B2B sales experience
* Account management skills and experience
* Sales experience in the events or hospitality industry

Responsibilities include:

* To increase the Venue’s Corporate sales and achieve aggressive targets
* To secure high revenue deals
* To identify and develop strong relationships with potential new clients through pro-active sales calls and face-to-face meetings
* To effectively and professionally manage client relationships and event issues
* To maintain a network of corporate contacts that enhances opportunities for repeat business; generating, and securing, new business.
* To develop and demonstrate full knowledge and understanding of key industry sectors
* To give professional presentations of venue facilities and services to existing and potential clients.
