ExCeL London is looking to recruit an experienced Building Services Technician to join our team which provides maintenance support for the venue and for the events which take place within it. We are looking for a candidate with a particular Mechanical bias. The ideal candidate will be Gas Safe accredited also familiar with large heating systems, boilers and pipe work and with pump skills. Preferred qualifications or equivalents are C&G 2140 Engineering Systems Maintenance; C&G 6017 Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (level 2) and C&G Plumbing /Equivalent C&G 6189/6129.

The role holder will also be responsible for carrying out statutory compliance maintenance inspections ensuring that all regulatory requirements are adhered to and that all documentation is current. They will also be expected to work with and support the wider Building Services team as required.

The ideal candidate will have an enthusiastic and can do approach and a level of flexibility to meet the demands of our industry. We aim to deliver a First Class Experience and to meet the team's Service Level and key performance indicators as well as liaising with sub contactors.

You will be familiar with working in a fast paced environment and able to deliver consistently high quality work under pressure and within deadlines. You will be smart and presentable and demonstrate a proactive , self-motivated approach to ensure all assigned tasks are completed comprehensively and efficiently using your initiative and problem solving skills.
